Doing MUCH better at 3am

I can tell she already feels MUCH better. She is talking a lot more and asking questions. The first thing she wanted to know at 1am was if I've checked out the surgery site yet. While I did stand next to the nurse while she was checking everything out, I chose not to look yet because I was having a hard enough time seeing her in such pain. Thankfully we asked the nurses to boost up her dose and she slept very good for over an hour. I wiped her face with a warm washcloth and she liked that. She says that her throat is already feeling better and that her left shoulder feels better too. She was really talkative a few minutes ago and wanted to know how long the surgery took and asked me twice how I was doing. Silly Momma. She then said, "Give us a kiss" which is her cute 'Granny' way of asking for a kiss. When I leaned over to kiss her, I told her it was from lots of people, not just me. :)
