That’s what Mom calls it. She’s been pressuring me over the last few days (she’s joking, sort of) about how I don’t love her cause I haven’t blogged in a while…she even said, “People will think I died” because I haven’t posted any new news. HAHA! Well, I’d been writing down notes and getting my act together, but I’ve had a sick baby AND have been taking care of Mom and her animals. Things can get a little overwhelming sometimes, which is why I haven’t been able to write it all down ‘til today. I have prepared a few blog entries that I will post today with their correct dates so you can read-up on all the new details in her recovery.
The best news I can possibly share is this: About 3 days ago, Mom woke up and actually felt BETTER. She even got a little weepy as she told me about this little ‘switch’ that seemed to go off in her recovery in a positive way. She felt REAL relief for the first time since the surgery. She has been completely off pain medication for 2 days now. This is truly remarkable considering what she’s been through. She still has one drain tube still in her body which is quite a bit of discomfort and feels that once it’s out she’ll be like brand new again.
Well, that’s all for now! We’ll let you know how things go on Wednesday

ReplyDeleteWow! I wanted to hear this for soooo long! Bree sent you something in the mail yesterday. She has worried like crazy, and it's hard to know--being so far away, near Toad Suck, Arkansas.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as my laptop comes by UPS today, I'll be bringing the little package to you. My computer had a defect. Kinda' new HP. Shouldn't have ever gotten it. HP customer service is the worse!
I went shopping yesterday for you. I can't go "buying" yet, but have a good idea on what you need. Hey! When are we going to plant a pomegranate tree? I Love You and so Happy that you are getting on top of this whole thing. Too much. lymi Susan
