DR VISIT - 7:22AM

Mom just had her first visit from Dr Kruper's assistant, who will be checking in with Mom while Dr Kruper is away at a surgical conference. She said Mom is doing great and that everything ia going as expected.
Mom has those silly things on her legs that inflate and deflate to help reduce clotting and she says she feels just like Babe and Piggy are in bed with her. lol
She says her pain this morning is very tolerable.
One more thing...The doctor said they will be sending over a physical/occupational therapist in a while to help Mom learn how to move her arms again. There is and will be a lot of upperbody muscle pain involved with this surgery, since they have to put the tissue expanders behind the chest wall muscle. She has basically no arm function as of right now. Thank goodness her pain level is good though.
