Enriching visits

Mom is SO GLAD to be home. She is so much more comfortable here, and is able to sleep much more soundly than the hospital. Dad and I have our routines down of how to care for her incisions and the tubes which come out of her sides. We hope for her sake the tubes will be out by this coming Friday when we have the next appointment at the City of Hope with her Plastic Surgeon. We also have another appointment on Monday with her Surgical Oncologist just to check everything out.


















We've had SO MANY wonderful visitors, and each one makes Mom feel SO GOOD. She loves to connect with people and LOVES having visitors. She's really not able to type yet because it is still difficult for her to use her arms. This will all come back soon...it just takes time. She has several hundred emails in her inbox of well wishes that she is excited to begin browsing through and hopes to get back to everyone over time.

Debby brought Mom a LOVELY edible arrangement of fruits that we all enjoyed. It was the neatest thing!
